If you absolutely are not available this day, please email broadwaykidsac@gmail.com to arrange for an alternative way to audition.  Please register for the Audition Workshop BEFORE you register for this camp.

Please note: we will first see kids in this age range at auditions, but if we can't fill the cast, we will open the show to selective older campers.

Rehearsals will run Sunday to Thursday from 10am-4pm, Friday from 10am-12:30pm

The Rising Stars (going into grades 1-3) rehearse from 10am-2pm

The Junior Players (going into grades 4-8) rehearse from 10am-4pm

MUSICAL SYNOPSIS: Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
